Water Quality Research, Engineering, and Design

Serving as a Water Resources Engineer with ISG, Bethany Brittenham is at the forefront of conservation practice design and implementation supporting water quality improvement in Iowa. Bethany has been involved in a wide variety of water quality-related projects, from field-scale practices like bioreactors and saturated buffers to large watershed-scale practices like wetlands strategically placed for nutrient removal and water quality. Between field investigation, design, and construction, Bethany loves seeing the engineering collaborations come to life alongside the beauty and multiple benefits that wetlands provide on Iowa’s landscape.
