Water Quality in Public Policy and Government

In role her as Policy Manager at the Center for Rural Affairs, Kayla Bergman leads a team working on conservation and agricultural policy at the local, state, and federal levels. Kayla grew up on a family farm in Southeast Iowa and has been intimately involved in the arenas of water quality and conservation for her whole professional career. She never thought she would work in policy, and is excited by the change that policy can bring with people coming together to support water quality improvement.
