Ross Evelsizer

Water Quality and Wildlife

A native of Decorah, Ross Evelsizer recognized from a young age the importance of natural resources, and has focused his career on protecting the natural resources of our state. With a background in geography, Ross approaches his work from a unique vantage point; he notes that geography brings a different perspective to water quality issues as you can zoom out and look at things on a global scale, or zoom in to a much smaller local scale. Ross currently serves as Natural Resource Projects Director with Northeast Iowa Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D).
